We stayed, recently,in Dairy House,Boconnoc for the second time. Everything was thought about and it was comfy, warm and things like logs, kitchen towel, loo roll, fluffy towels and much much more were thought about and provided. There were fresh flowers, lovely local milk, homemade biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar. There were even dog chews, poo bags, and a water bowl for my dog.
Boconnoc itself is like a land within a land,a magical peaceful enchanted kingdom. There’s lots of walking to be had and many interesting trees, shrubs and plants. My grown-up sons loved the games room and the mountain bikes.I grew up at Boconnoc so it feels like home to me but I think my b8as is well deserved as it’s enchanting and the the places to stay are loved by whoever cares for them and there’s nothing I can think of that would make it better.
Dairy House Guests 2026
We absolutely loved our 8 nights on the Boconnoc estate! It truly feels like you’re own, from the comforting way that the cottage is designed to the quiet nature of the beautiful surroundings. The team were fantastic in sorting anything we needed during our stay, but there really is already everything you can think of in the house. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
Such an amazing place to stay. The building, the accommodation, the grounds, the facilities, the friendliness, the attention to detail, the location, the communication. All first class! Myself and 18 of my closest friends had a truly wonderful long weekend at Boconoc. From the moment you drive through the gates and take your first glimpse of the house, you realise that this is special. I wish I had stayed longer.
The house itself is simply stunning with plenty of space for everyone. Plenty of room for group celebration, and just as easily, more rooms in case you wished for a little peace and quiet. From the moment we arrived, we felt special. We held a birthday celebration on the back terrace with an amazing view of the grounds. We played tennis, held a yoga class, walked in the deer park, made pizzas on the terrace, swam in the lake, and just relaxed in pleasant conversation. We charged the EV, we found milk on site, we had gifts from the management, the fire was lit. I could go on. If all that is not enough, Fowey is just a 25-minute drive away.
Three nights in the Head Groom’s cottage was very comfortable in a character venue.
Loved the decor and the wood fire. Having a full well appointed kitchen was a bonus.
The location gave easy access to the north west coast, Tintagel, and the South coast, Mevigissey.
The highlight of the stay for me was walking on the estate. I would have loved to have a horse to explore with further
This was our third stay at Boconnoc and our second time in the Groom’s House. It was just as we remembered it. A well-equipped home from home, spotlessly clean, and with incredible views from the lounge. A very peaceful location. And we enjoyed seeing the lambs in the field.
We had the most wonderful time. Boconnoc estate has to be one of the most peaceful and relaxing places in the world! From the resident barn owl, to the endless trees and wilderness. The tennis court surroundings are second to none! We loved exploring the coastline too, and have become huge fans of the fantastic Lantic Bay.
The house is so comfortable, and the interiors make it such a luxurious stay. The house is also fantastic for little children too, who loved the large garden and selection of toys in the house. Thank you , we cannot wait to come back!
