SUMMARY:Miracle Theatre presents Peer Gynt
DESCRIPTION:  \nMiracle Theatre bring their playful twist on the classic tale of Peer Gynt to the Boconnoc grounds this summer. \nYoung Peer is a lazy dreamer who wildly misinterprets William Shakespeare’s advice “To thine own self be true” to mean “look after number one.” Chasing pleasure\, riches and reputation\, Peer blunders his way through life fuelled by bravado\, bad decisions and endless excuses. Surely this can only end badly…? \nLoosely based on Henrik Ibsen’s epic comic poem\, this famous morality tale is perfect material for Miracle Theatre’s highly visual style: physical\, funny\, surreal and deeply human. Expect a riotous journey through a dream-like world of Norse mythology\, peopled with cranky characters\, trolls and other bizarre creatures. A comedy of terrors.\n\n \nDate: Tue 14 Jul 2026  \nTime: Gates open at 6.15pm\, performance starts 7:30 PM  \nThe Boconnoc bar will be open\, and pizzas will be available from Kernoforno. Picnics are very welcome. \nTickets: Adults £20.00\, Children £10.00\, Concessions £16.00\, Love Miracle Members £25.00\, Family Ticket £50.00 \nRecommended age: 7+\nApproximate running time: 2 hours\, including an interval. \nBOOK TICKETS \nA quick guide to Miracle Theatre outdoor performances \nGather a Group – Theatre is best shared. Bring friends\, family and neighbours for a proper Miracle night out. \nWhatever the weather\, the show goes on – Check the forecast and dress for the elements. \nBegin your evening beautifully – Arrive early to enjoy the grounds\, soak up the atmosphere and secure your favourite spot.  \nBring a seat – Please bring a low-backed chair or picnic blanket (and maybe a cushion).  \nBring a Picnic – Bring your own feast or check venue details on Miracle Theatre’s website for food and drink options.\nBring a torch – For finding your way home after the show. \n  \nWe recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance begins so you have plenty of time to get settled. \nIf you have any queries\, please contact boxoffice@miracletheatre.co.uk

SUMMARY:LilyBoo Day Retreat - Nature Studies in Watercolours with Tamsin Dearing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an inspiring day at beautiful Boconnoc\, and enjoy an introduction to using watercolour painting to capture the natural world on the page. \nBased at Boconnoc’s Stable Yard and taking time to explore the grounds for inspiration\, the day will be hosted by the LilyBoo team and led by talented artist Tamsin Dearing.  \nThis workshop is designed for complete beginners. Whether you are new to making art or new to using watercolours\, you will have lots of fun learning new skills.    \nYou will learn a range of techniques to get you started with painting\, and build your confidence in using colour in a quick and rewarding way. Combining sketching and painting\, we will observe and record what we see\, creating a visual diary of the day and the stunning surroundings. \nThe day will be informative yet relaxed\, whilst we each find what we each enjoy and discover our own styles.  No pressure to get it ‘right’\, rather learning through play and the joy of vibrant and loose painting. \nWho is the workshop suitable for? \nThis is a great workshop for beginners or for those wanting a refresher. \nWho is the workshop led by? \nWe are delighted to be joined by artist Tamsin Dearing.  Tamsin will share her love of painting and showcase how the simplest of tools can create realistic art. Professional artist Tamsin specialises in pencil\, coloured pencil\, pastel\, and charcoal drawing. And more recently has developed a passion for en plein air sketching\, which also incorporates watercolour and pen work. \nWhat do you need to bring along  \nPlease bring a palette of watercolours (we recommend Daler-Rowney or Winsor & Newton) and brushes.  Or you may wish to purchase one of the LilyBoo starter kits.  We will provide blankets for the outdoors\, if you would prefer a chair\, please bring along a camping chair. \nOther things you need to know \nThe day includes lunch and refreshments. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. \nDate: 15th July \nTime: 10am to 4pm \nCost: £115 \nTo book your place\, please visit www.lilyBoocornwall.co.uk
