DESCRIPTION:Join us for a super exciting Deer Safari with our expert ranger\, Ian Berry. \nOn Saturday 6th\, April\, hop aboard the tractor-trailer for a fun ride to the Boconnoc Deer Park\, where you can learn all about the beautiful deer that live on the estate. \nOur ranger Ian will teach you about the essential tasks of a deer ranger\, from poo detecting to protecting the habitat of these magnificent creatures. \nAfterwards\, families can participate in craft activities in our stable yard\, spend some time together in our games room or indulge in a tasty snack from our on-site cafe! \nThis event is family-focused and can be enjoyed by all ages. \nChildren under 16 will need to be supervised by an adult at all times. \nWe will meet at the Stable Yard at 10 am and be back around 12 pm. \nRefreshments will be available\, and you are encouraged to bring your picnic to enjoy in the Stable Yard after the safari. \n  \nAdult – £15 \nChild- (6-15y) £7.50 \nUnder 5’s – free \n  \nBUY TICKETS HERE

DESCRIPTION:Cornwall Heritage Trust is a charity that works to ensure Cornwall’s unique heritage is protected and shared with everyone\, enjoy Boconnoc’s grounds and gardens and help raise funds so that they can continue their good work. \n\nA free talk by historian and author\, Catherine Lorigan\, will be held at 2.30pm. Catherine is the author of the book Boconnoc – The History of a Cornish Estate.  \n  \nThere’s something for all the family\, including a fun-filled trail to keep the little ones busy during your visit. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. \n  \n7th April 2024 \n2pm to 5pm \nTicket prices are £6 if pre-booked online \, £7.50 on the door. \nUnder 12s go free and do not require booking. \nOnline booking will close at 12noon on the Friday before each event. \nDue to poor signal\, Cornwall Heritage Trust will only be able to accept cash for tickets purchased on the day. \nLast entry will be one hour before closing time. \n  \nCornwall Heritage Trust’s Open Gardens 2024 is sponsored by Coodes Solicitors. SUMMARY:Celebrating Spring Floral Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Join floral artist Rebecca Stuart of The Garden Gate Flower Company for a masterclass in floral arrangement with the backdrop of spring blooming across the grounds of Boconnoc. \nHer designs use only British flowers\, including those produced in her garden at Duchy of Cornwall Nursery in Lostwithiel. \n  \nRebecca will demonstrate how to create a beautiful vase arrangement; this will be followed by private access to wander the grounds of Boconnoc\, admiring spring flowers at their finest. \nLocally grown flowers in spring colours will be provided for your floral creation\, and participants will join Becca to wander the grounds and forage for elements to complement their design. \nBecca will guide you on how to cut and condition your flowers to keep your arrangements looking good for longer\, and should you wish to gift your arrangement\, she will teach you how to wrap your bouquet\, giving you the knowledge for future home-grown gifting. \nCourse includes \nTalk about spring flowers\, \nBouquet demonstration \nCollecting foliage  \nFlowers to create your arrangement \nGift wrapping demonstration \nGlass jar to take your flowers home in \nRefreshments include tea\, coffee\, and homemade biscuits. \nBook Tickets
