SUMMARY:A Nest of Gentle Makers
DESCRIPTION:A Nest of Gentle Makers was started in 2018 by Dr Charlotte Jenner with the aim of creating restorative retreats in beautiful settings. \n“We run retreats in a variety of locations ranging from rustic woodland to the majesty of Boconnoc House. But at our core is a desire to give our attendees the space and time that they need to nurture their creativity. \nWe are so excited to have the opportunity to bring A Nest of Gentle Makers once again to Boconnoc House. This beautiful country house estate is the perfect place to relax in comfort whilst feeding your creativity. There will be creative workshops\, walks\, yoga\, maybe some swimming and plenty of time to connect and chat. They will be intimate retreats of 8-11 guests. Each retreat is a half week (3 nights) and we will have different guest teachers for the two retreats so it would be completely possible (and rather wonderful) to join us for the whole week (6 nights).” \nRetreat One: Monday 24th-Thursday 27th October 2022 \n\n\nPatterns and Printmaking Inspired by Nature with Luna North. \n“Over the course of two workshops\, Luna will teach us how to get inspired by the shapes found in nature\, enabling us to use our designs to make beautiful linocut prints. For the final workshop of the retreat we will bind our own simple books to adorn with our prints. \n \nCreativity and health and well being are closely linked and by feeding your creativity you will be helping yourself to reduce stress and to keep well. We have a wonderful inclusive yoga teacher\, Kate Woodward @gingertonicyoga who will guide us on both energising and restorative yoga practices throughout the retreats. We will also have a private chef for the retreats who will nourish us with vegetarian food.” \nMore information can be found at A Nest of Gentle Makers. Also follow @anestofgentlemakers for more glimpses into these gorgeous retreats.

I’m inspired by the simple and natural health benefits of essential oils and hope to inspire other people to incorporate them into their own self-care rituals and seasonal slow living. \nSustainability\, quality\, and fairness are at the heart of my ingredient sourcing process.  Where possible I aim to use only organic ingredients with minimal\, plastic free packaging which can easily be reused or recycled within your own home” \n\n  \nConnect with Kit  \nInstagram @kitclancy_aromatherapy \nFacebook Kit Clancy Aromatherapy  \nWebsite www.kitclancy.com \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

More information on wildarts.org.uk \nWild Arts makes great music fresh and enjoyable\, performed in intimate venues\, for everyone. In 2022 we performed in over 30 venues. \nEnvironmentally sustainable performing and touring\, and top quality\, lie at the heart of Wild Arts. \nWe take risks\, playing opera and symphonic repertoire as chamber music\, collaboratively\, and in unusual locations. We mix incredibly talented young musicians with the expertise of musicians who have performed on the great world stages. \nThe long term dream of Wild Arts is a truly sustainable opera house and performance space\, set in a re-wilded and bio-diverse environment\, built from sustainable materials\, with regenerative\, carbon positive operation. \n  \nLet me tell you that Wild Arts’ opera evenings are of a breathtakingly high\, ROH-level musical standard – a gorgeous quintet of musicians and a most cunning choice of excerpts\, mischievously well acted. I’d follow them anywhere. Libby Purves \n  \nA fine young cast excel\, with engaging energy and superb singing … a knowing\, cheeky sense of humour\, while never detracting from Mozart’s delectable score. An affordable and accessible production\, attracting those who might be new to opera. – The Guardian on our 2022 production of Così fan tutte. \n  \nBOOK HERE
