DESCRIPTION:This summer\, the Kernow Chamber Players return to Boconnoc House for a relaxed and atmospheric evening of live jazz set against the beauty of the estate’s grounds. \nBring a blanket or chair and settle in on the lawn as the ensemble presents a vibrant programme celebrating the music of Claude Bolling\, whose signature blend of classical elegance and jazz flair has delighted audiences worldwide. \nThe evening will feature special guest Jenny Farley\, performing selections from Bolling’s much-loved Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio—a work full of wit\, lyricism\, and irresistible rhythm. Joined by exciting young trumpeter Reuben Anelay\, the programme will also include Bolling’s Toot Suite for trumpet and jazz trio\, bringing energy and sparkle to the summer setting. \nDescribed by critics as “peppy\, snazzy\, sublime\, urbane\, ethereal\, all in one album: Bolling perfection”\, this is music that effortlessly crosses genres\, offering something fresh and uplifting for all. \nWith the grandeur of Boconnoc House as your backdrop and the sounds of jazz drifting through the evening air\, this promises to be a truly memorable event.  \nDate: 13th July 2026 \nTime: Gates and Boconnoc bar open from 6pm\, performance starts at 7pm \nTickets: Adult £16\, Students £9\, Under 12’s free \nBOOK TICKETS \nOutdoor performances at Boconnoc \nBring something to sit on\, a picnic if you wish\, please check the weather and dress appropriately. \nIn the case of bad weather\, performances will not be cancelled until the start time\, as rain often clears up very quickly.
