Join the Kernow Chamber Players at Boconnoc Church for performance of Claude Bolling’s Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano.
Claude Bolling caused a world-wide sensation when he produced his in the 1970’s. A grammy nomination, 530 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Charts, and follow-on commissions from the top musicians in the world all came his way. The piece is a subtle and charismatic exploration of the boundary between jazz and classical music. Critics wrote – “Peppy, snazzy, sublime, urbane, ethereal all in one album – Bolling perfection”.
