I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you, Louise and all of your wonderful staff at Boconnoc for last weekend. We, and everyone who came, absolutely loved it, and we had so many comments on how lovely you all were. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was just a wonderful experience, start to finish. We can’t thank you enough. I’m sure you’re onto the next wedding this weekend and are super busy through the summer. But just wanted to say have a great summer season, and we hope to visit again next year to say hello.

It is hard to summarise our experience of Boconnoc in just a paragraph. Boconnoc’s natural beauty, architectural impressiveness, joyful interior design, geographical situation in Cornwall, and prioritisation of sustainability initially attracted us. Boconnoc was the perfect venue for our special day, complete with the best team we could have ever imagined. By the end of the weekend, it felt as if we were saying goodbye to close friends. Catherine and the team were supportive, attentive, adaptable, and kind. They never missed a beat and helped us consider every possible detail, made helpful suggestions, adapted to our wants and needs, and on the big day itself — we felt as if we were royalty! When it sadly came to the end of our dream wedding weekend, we reflected that it truly was the happiest day and happiest weekend of our entire lives. We cannot thank everyone at Boconnoc enough, for all that goes on behind the scenes to create such a wonderful atmosphere — one which simultaneously feels safe and homely, while also being luxurious and grand. We can’t imagine getting married anywhere else, and we cannot wait to come back and reminisce, celebrate anniversaries and sink into the absolute magic of Boconnoc Estate once again. We can’t thank you enough.

WOW! Where do we even start when it comes to Boconnoc….
So we got engaged in Feb 2023 – and after being let down by our first venue we ended up moving our entire, already planned, wedding over to Boconnoc just on the off chance that they had our date still free. Someone was looking over us that day as they did and it was quite possible the best decision we will ever make.
We met Sima and our lives changed forever – for the lady that doesn’t really do weddings she absolutely nailed it for us alongside Catherine who joined Boconnoc whilst we were on our journey. They helped us orchestrate what can only be described as the perfect wedding for our family and friends and of course us. I think we have set the bar high for those to follow.
Through weekly meetings, I just knew that we were in safe hands, and the expertise they brought was worth every penny. Nothing was too much effort, and the attention to detail was second to none. The whole of the Boconnoc team pulled out the stops for our perfect day, from the housekeeping team to the kitchen and bar staff, the table and chair carriers, and of course, Sima, Catherine, and Colin, who I am sure worked for the entire weekend.
We hired the entire estate, and my word, we made use of it—the endless fields for our marquee and North vs. South rounders, the stable block for the evening before using silent disco headphones and dancing in the Cornish mizzle, the main house to party hard in, sleep and enjoy the hot breakfasts provided to us every day, and the Stewardry and head grooms house for people to stay in.
We are already planning to come back to our special place, ensuring our bubble never burst, and thanks to Boconnoc, I don’t think it ever will. We truly felt like we were in Bridgerton, and it was ours for the weekend—it honestly felt like that. Our memories of our day will last our lifetime, and we can never thank you all enough for everything you did.

A perfect day. Literally perfect, we used Boconnoc for our wedding this year in July and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Every single part of the experience was what dreams are made of, the house and grounds are absolutely stunning and kept so immaculately. Every member of the team that we had looking after us couldn’t have been any more lovely. As a Gay couple, we felt so comfortable and supported throughout. Catherine and Louise were amazing, they were so so helpful, so accommodating, and brilliant with communication. We’ll forever be grateful for all of their input in making our wedding as perfect as we imagined it to be. We stayed in the house for a few days before our wedding with just our close family. We then had exclusive use of the house and cottages for the night before and evening of our wedding.We had so many compliments from guests about how stunning their rooms and cottages. We found being able to have so many of our friends and family stay at the venue worked out really well. We had the most beautiful time and wish we could live it all over again. We can’t thank you enough.

What a wonderful weekend Wow! We loved Boconnoc the moment we visited it and had very high expectations for the weekend, but these were completely surpassed. Thanks so much to Catherine, Louise, Sima and the entire Boconnoc team. From start to finish, they made everything so easy. Catherine was on top of everything throughout the planning process, which made it a breeze and we received such great vendor recommendations (who we ultimately booked) from the Boconnoc team. From the moment we and our guests arrived on Friday afternoon, until we left Sunday, we were so well taken care of by the team, and they truly made us feel at home. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Boconnoc is such a special place and if you are considering it, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I feel incredibly lucky to have got married at Boconnoc almost a year ago! My husband and I wanted an elegant venue but somewhere that people could feel relaxed and at home, and that is exactly what Boconnoc offers. We had seen four other venues before Boconnoc and it stood out by miles and miles. It’s an exceptionally beautiful estate that has been thoughtfully restored. We hired the entire venue so that a big portion of our guests could stay on-site and it made everything so easy and relaxed.
We had all our bridesmaids and their partners (13 in total) stay in the newly-renovated Stewardry and they loved being altogether and had the best time. Staying in the main house felt so luxurious and we felt thoroughly spoilt. We had a party the night before the wedding in the stable block and hired a local pizza van to cater which gave our guests staying on-site the chance to mingle before the wedding.
There is so much flexibility with this venue – you really can tailor it exactly how you want. Having the church on-site is an incredibly unique experience and it’s a really beautiful place to get married if you want a church wedding. There are so many beautiful places on the estate to take photos – we were spoilt for choice which definitely wasn’t the case with other venues we had visited. All of the staff, from the events manager to the on-site manager and housekeeper were incredible. I had a lot of questions and requests, and nothing was too much trouble for them! The staff also included some wonderfully thoughtful touches like providing afternoon tea for us the day before our wedding, which we hadn’t expected. The preferred supplier list is full of incredibly talented and high quality vendors and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more from our wedding venue.Everyone helped us make memories that will last a lifetime and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which is a huge testament to everyone at Boconnoc. I absolutely adore this place and I love that they hire out the buildings for holiday hire as well, as we definitely want to go back with our family and friends and re-live some of our memories!

“We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making our wedding on 1st July such an incredible experience. From start to finish we felt so looked after and in such good hands. On arrival, Louise made sure we felt at home and was always on hand to answer any queries and help.
The afternoon tea was an absolute delight, and this was such a lovely touch. The homemade scones were quite possibly the best we have eaten (and Will certainly knows a good cream tea!) Emily was so professional from start to finish and once again we felt in very capable hands.
On the Friday evening it was quite rainy but the lengths that Louise and the rest of the staff went to ensure that the stable rooms were set up nicely with flowers and candles really added to making it a lovely atmosphere! All of these small details really did not go unnoticed. On the wedding day itself we felt so looked after. The breakfasts were perfect! We couldn’t have hoped for a more smoothly run and enjoyable day.
It was honestly better than anything we had imagined; we have been on a real high ever since! On the Sunday we felt so sad to leave and it was so lovely getting to know some of the staff. We really do feel grateful to everyone for their hard work in making it the best weekend of our lives so far. We will always have such fond memories of Boconnoc and cannot wait to come back and visit one day soon.”

We had the enormous pleasure of staying for two nights in Groomsman on the occasion of the wedding of Catherine Repko and Dominic Hales. The quality of our stay was second to none and the very ample breakfast and afternoon tea hampers were delicious and of a very high standard. We also wanted to say how very impressed we were too with the catering team responsible for delivering a very high standard wedding breakfast. The predominantly young table staff worked tremendously hard and were very professional. There was nothing we could fault about our stay and are very happy to recommend you highly.

When looking for a venue we wanted it to be in a location that really felt special. When we came across Boconnoc we knew it was perfect. We loved the stable yard vibe but then also fell in love with the modern grandeur of the house itself. It felt like this secret magical part of the world that we had discovered and were excited to bring all our friends and family there.
We had the most fantastic time, and loved the fact we had the Estate to ourselves for the whole weekend.

“Due to Covid we did three residencies and planned three weddings at Boconnoc! That said it has been marvellous. Seeing Boconnoc at different times of year, meeting the team and owners, seeing the gardens in different stages of bloom has been wonderful for us. Our family has had two weddings at Boconnoc now, and may there be many more! It is a superb location.
The team are also sublime. We couldn’t have asked for more from you. Your prompt replies, whatsapp messages to set our minds at ease and flexibility was amazing. You never worry about the weather and will lend your hand to anything, be that serving at the bar or assembling gazebos and lighting fire pits. I hope that for all the couples that follow us down the aisle that you’re still at Boconnoc to take care of them.
All the ‘behind the scenes’ staff were outstanding…… dedicated individuals who are rarely at the forefront but are the driving gear behind such a successful wedding venue. Thank you and the guests appreciate you.
